About

Founded in Buenos Aires in 2004, the Bulletin of aesthetics is a publication of the Aesthetics and Philosophy of Art Program at the Center for Philosophical Research. Its purpose is to contribute to the development and dissemination, in the Spanish language, of academic works on philosophical aesthetics, art theory, and the history of aesthetic ideas.

Until December 2024, the Bulletin of aesthetics was published quarterly. Starting in 2025, the Bulletin of aesthetics will change its frequency from a quarterly to a biannual publication. From now on, it will be issued twice a year, in June and December, without affecting the average number of articles published. This change aims to optimize the management of the evaluation and editing timelines for our contributors' texts.
