About the Journal

Founded in Buenos Aires in 2004, the Bulletin of aesthetics is a publication of the Aesthetics and Philosophy of Art Program at the Center for Philosophical Research (Buenos Aires, Argentina).

Aim and Scope

The purpose of the Bulletin of aesthetics is to contribute to the development and dissemination, in Spanish, of academic works on philosophical aesthetics, art theory, and the history of aesthetic ideas. It is published twice a year, on a biannual basis (June and December).

General Editorial Guidelines

• The Bulletin of aesthetics does not charge any fees for the evaluation or publication of submitted manuscripts.
• The Editorial Committee always retains the authority to determine the relevance and academic interest of submitted materials for potential inclusion in the journal.
• All works deemed suitable for publication undergo external review using a double-blind peer review system.

Open Access Policy

The Bulletin of aesthetics follows an open-access policy. Authors retain the copyright to their articles and may publish them as long as they do so under the Creative Commons CC-BY 4.0 license. This allows free and immediate access to the texts, without an embargo period and without requiring registration in the journal. This license authorizes any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full or partial content of published articles in their post-print version, analyze them for indexing, use them as data for software, or employ them for any other legal purpose.
