Abstract

After the publication in 2015 of La cuestión del alma [Über die Seelenfrage], arguably one of the most representative treatises by the German psychologist Gustav Theodor Fechner (1801–1887), Editorial Cactus released in 2017 a small and singular volume that brings together two early texts written by Fechner himself under the pseudonym Dr. Mises, which, to some extent, anticipate or foreshadow the fundamental features of what Fechner would eventually systematize under the name of psychophysics.
