Abstract

This dossier offers the trilingual edition – Italian, French, and Spanish – of the two versions of the lecture that Paul Ricœur initially gave at the xix International Exposition of the Milan Triennale, held in 1994, and two years later, in a meeting organized by the Directorate of Architecture and Heritage of the Ministry of Culture of France. The texts are preceded by a study that explains the place of this intervention within the framework of the work of the author of Temps et récit and compares the two versions of the text: the one published in Italian in 1996 in the exhibition catalog, and the one published in French in the journal Urbanisme in 1998, with partial modifications.
